Company Policies and Procedures: Limited confirms a commitment to promote the health and wellbeing of the community in which it exists. The Company will do its utmost, as far as is reasonably practicable, to ensure that its activities do not adversely affect the environment and will continue to promote awareness and understanding of environmental issues and sustainable development within the company.

The Company is committed to:


achieve a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions against estimates of current emissions resulting from the operations of Limited, particularly with regard to energy resourcing and use,travel and transport, waste production and disposal and the purchasing of goods and services;

wherever possible and reasonably practicable, recycle, reuse or dispose of material in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way;

comply with the requirements and accompanying regulations of the Environmental Protection Act and the Pollution Prevention and Control Act;

support a ban on the sale and use of products containing CFCs

enforcement of its no smoking policy, and will encourage and support initiatives to help employees to give up smoking;

specifying the purchase of environmentally sustainable goods from a verified source where practicable;

minimising environmental pollution in all its own activities and through its influence on others


We are committed to maintaining the above and will regularly review our procedures.


We aim to give confidence to our clients, staff and general public that we are a company that cares about the environment. Limited shall strive, as far as is practicable, to be an exemplar in environmental management, best practice and statutory compliance.  The company is currently working towards BS EN ISO14001 certification as a demonstration of it’s commitment to improving the environment.


Materials Policy


As a dedicated printer onto plastic substrates we are very aware that many of our products can be classified as non environmental friendly. We constantly strive to source new and greener materials and list below our recyclable range:


Polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) and High-impact Polystyrene (HIPS) are chemically inert, non-toxic and do not contain chlorine derivatives or other substances that can damage the ozone layer.

No contaminating substances are used in the manufacturing of our polyolefin’s (PP & PE) and they are 100% recyclable at the end of their long and useful life.

Polyolefin’s meet the four criteria of the European Union (EU) environmental commission i.e. minimum use of natural resources, reduced emission of harmful substances, a long and useful life with optimised re-use and recyclable.


We are committed to maintaining the above and will regularly review our procedures.

The Law on Unlawful Discrimination

Responsibilities of all Employees

participate fully in any Equal Opportunities training provided for them by Vinalith PlasPrint Ltd.

It is a condition of service that employees comply with and support the Equal Opportunities Policy. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action, including dismissal.


Responsibilities of Managers


As well as their responsibilities as employees, managers have certain additional responsibilities in relation to the Equal Opportunities Policy. These are described below:


All managers must:


familiarise themselves with the Equal Opportunities Policy;

make known to their staff the aims of the Equal Opportunities Policy and the way in which Vinalith PlasPrint Ltd plans to achieve them;

ensure that all their staff conduct themselves in accordance with the policy;

apply employment practices, procedures and conditions of service fairly and consistently;

deal with grievances speedily and fairly;

identify and remove practices which may lead to discrimination;

assess employees’ training needs in relation to Equal Opportunities;

take immediate action to stop any unlawful discrimination at work, give support to the person discriminated against and deal appropriately with the person responsible.



Monitoring Equal Opportunities Limited is committed to regularly monitoring its personnel practices and procedures in order to:


comply with current legal requirements;
